So I will be filing my 6th weekly claim tomorrow and and have not received a single payment.
I worked a full-time job as a bartender and after my my workplace was shut down, I was able to go through the entire unemployment application process and submit my initial application. But then the system made me send in verification that I no longer work for a former employer. That verification still has not been processed after almost 6 weeks.
So I will be filing my 6th weekly claim tomorrow and have not received a single payment.
I am unable to get through on the phone, and I have no other income besides these pending unemployment benefits. I’m not understanding why it’s taking 6 weeks to verify I don’t work at one employer
